2010 Hoosier National has a New Date!

The biggest race weekend for all of us here at Burdette Park Bmx and the biggest holiday weekend of the summer has just joined forces to become the biggest weekend of the year!  The 2010 Hoosier Nationals at Burdette has been moved to the big 3-day holiday weekend of July 3 - 4 with the National pre-race on Friday July 2. So mark those calendars, request those vacation days, plan to "call-in-sick" or do what you must - but you just gotta hit this one!

WE NEED HELP!   -   2010 Donations

In the present day economy, even Bmx is taking the hit as well as Bmx Tracks. For the coming 2010 race season at Burdette Park Bmx, we need all the help we can get! Everybody please talk to local businesses and employers about helping out the track as well as the opportunity to get their name in front of the bmx community. Please use this link ...

2010 Donation Letter  to print out your own copy of the letter to take out into the community.

Burdette Park BMX (Bicycle Moto Cross) is a Non-Profit parent run organization dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for families to come together. We have been in existence since 1977 and are the oldest BMX track in America. BMX made its debut in the 2008 Olympics where USA won the Silver and Bronze medals. Burdette Park BMX will be hosting the 2010 Hoosier Nationals July 4th Weekend drawing people from all over the country. Our local schedule consists of races almost every Saturday from April to October.

For your donation of $250 we will provide a 3’x5’ banner with your company name, logo and information on it. Your banner will be visible to spectators the entire racing season. We will also provide a race designated to your company where the banner will be displayed from our announcing tower and company flyers, coupons, etc. will be passed out to everyone that enters the track. In addition to the banner and designated race, your logo and website link will be available at our website www.burdetteparkbmx.org for 2010. If you would like to continue donating for the following year the cost will only be $200.

We supply and run the track strictly through donations, fundraisers, races and the help of volunteers. Throughout the course of the season we must supply concessions, purchase trophies and maintain our equipment for the property. We as a group would like to THANK YOU in advance for your consideration. Your help will allow us to continue our goal of encouraging physical fitness, learning sportsmanship and giving riders of all ages a safe place to have fun.

If you are interested in sponsoring Burdette Park BMX please feel free to contact Chris Skelton at 812-305-2091 or via e-mail  bmxican583@gmail.com.
